3rd Idea Development

I have decided to look into the third idea for my game. Focusing on Middle Ages era (with a possibility side of Industrial zing). I will give a brief overview of what the game will be about

- Leanoric is King, and Learic is his twin brother - a fine swordsman, noble man and hand of the King. Although they look similar, both men have very different views opinions - but they manage to get along. In the Family, a ancient necklace amulet has been passed down through generations. It prevents the user from aging, keeping you young, fit and healthy. There is a rule however. You may only wear it until you become 100 years old, then you must die honorably, giving it up to the King to be.

Leanoric defies this rule, and as a result - tension is built between the twins until Leanoric orders his brother to be killed. Learic escapes, and in the midst of the chaos steals the amulet. He gives up his armor, possessions - anything that can be traced to him so he can try to blend in with society. Without the amulet, Leanoric will age quickly and die - so he desperately races to find Learic, hiring (3 or 4) factions of people (creatures) to find Learic and retrieve the amulet before it's too late.

Learic's objective - Hide the separate pieces of the amulet to 4 (or 5) locations where they will be safe and unattainable.

As Learic, you will have to be careful of who you converse with, and what you do. People are devious, and will turn you in or alert Leanoric of your where about's if you are not careful. Furthermore, I still want to keep that aspect of Leanoric (and his factions) appearing at random. For example: You might be in a village and think you are safe but suddenly your brother appears with his comrades. At which point you have to be very careful and evade/hide. You could try to attack him, but he is much stronger than you. I like the idea that you are always on the run and constantly aware that they could turn up at any minute. The game is about you preparing yourself to defeat him, whilst hiding the amulet.

This is still a very basic story. It still needs more work and no doubt has plot holes, but it's a start. I might continue to do some initial sketches for character ideas and design before I work on the story more.
